    大竹 寛子

    2006年東京藝術大学絵画科日本画専攻卒業、2011年同大学大学院美術研究科博士課程日本画研究領域修了、美術研究博士号取得。2014年東京藝術大学エメラルド賞受賞。2015-2016年文化庁新進芸術家海外派遣制度によりニューヨークに滞在。2019年ローマ教皇来日に伴いバチカン市国に作品「Psyche」を寄贈。

    長年研鑽を積んだ日本画の伝統的な技法を基に、箔や岩絵具を用いて新たな表右舷を展開し、国内外で高く評価されている。
